Jerry Eisner passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023. Born in Czechoslovakia, he immigrated to the United States as a child, via New York City. At 18 Jerry moved to Miami, Florida, and after a two year enlistment with the Unite Read Obituary
I was literally thinking about him a few weeks back. I remember him interviewing me for the SMSH photography magnet program back in 95, before I attended in 96. Definitely was my inspiration for the art of seeing things differently thru a lens. He will definitely be missed.
I was thinking about Jerry today and found out about his passing. I'm really sorry to hear it. He was one of my teachers in P.A.V.A.C., back in the eighties. He really was a great photography teacher. He was strict but so funny. He helped shape the way I look at art. My condolences to his family.
