1, 1932, in the community of La Fête, Grand-Goâve, Haiti. Isadie Juste was her
birth name; she later became known as Isadie Richard after her marriage. She
was the daughter of Joacin Juste and Liseanna Decilien. Of the seven (7)

After separating from her husband, Isadie courageously assumed the role of both
mother and provider. She became an entrepreneur out of strength and necessity,
working tirelessly to raise her children with dignity. Later in life, she met Jacques
Degrange, with whom she had two (2) additional children: Yanick and Robeine.
Despite many hardships, Isadie remained strong and unwavering. She never
stopped striving to give her children a better future. Her resilience, perseverance,
and unconditional love form a legacy that will endure for generations.
A devoted Catholic, Isadie was compassionate, kind, and welcoming. She loved

friends. Generous by nature, she always placed the needs of others before her
own.
