Born in a Town ironically called “Florida” within the Midwestern Province of Camaguey, Cuba.
In 1954, at the age of 23, she fearlessly immigrated to the United States. She made (Brooklyn, New York) her home in 1958.
She worked as a Social Worker in Bedford-Stuyvesant, where she Co-Created a program for the Under-Privileged Children of the Community. The Program was called “Youth in Action” which is now known as “The National Summer Jobs” Program.

In 1980, she moved to (Miami, Florida) where she worked for the County for Three Decades. She retired in 1997, where she became a Full-Time Grandmother.
Most of her Close Friends & Family knew her as (Auntie) “Chi-Chi”, Lil Grandma, and Grandma Popcorn.
She was described as being Adventurous, Fearless, Hilarious, Smart, Kind, Generous to a Fault, and Fiercely Loyal to her Close Friends & Family.
