Fred Martin Flores' Obituary
Fred Martin Flores, 90, Husband to the late Josie Rodriguez Flores, originally both of Brownsville, Texas passed away on October 16, 2023, surrounded by his family. Fred is survived by his six children, and his wife Dulce Flores. Fred was born to the late Ramon and Viviana Flores, also both from Brownsville, Texas. Fred had 9 brothers and sisters and is still survived by his brother Alex Flores. Fred became a Mechanic and later a Shop Foreman for Pan-American Airlines and successfully rose through the ranks to become an excellent and respected member of the Pan-Am Management Team. Fred and Josie went on to have six children. Maria Chaddock(Ken), Rosalinda Vance (the late James Vance) Sandra Schlesinger (Marc), Sam Flores ( Ricky), Daniel Flores (Gessie), and Christina Goodin ( Jo el). Fred had a real passion for serving the Lord and helping people who were less fortunate. During the year and especially at the holidays, he did his best to make sure people in need were fed and taken care of. Fred was also a past president of St. Vincent DePaul and managed the local St. Vincent DePaul Charity Store.
One of Fred's major loves were his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his extended family members. Gabriel Flores. And the late “ Little” Danny Chaddock. Don Reynolds Jr, (Lily) and their children, Austin and Alyssa ReynoldsJulie Valdes ( Gerry), and their children AJ, Niko, and Jerry Michael. Lily, Molly and Brandon Goodin. Children of Tina & Joel Goodin. Fred made a large impact on his family, on the local community his Church, Our Lady of the Lakes in Miami Lakes, Florida. He will be truly missed. The Flores Family Will Host a viewing on October 20, 2023, at the San Jose Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 250 E. 4th Ave. Hialeah, FL 33010Following the Viewing there will be a Burial Service, Friday October 20th, 2023, at 2:30 PM.
