Francis "Frank" Elliot Mackle, IV's Obituary
Frank E. Mackle IV, 49, of Coral Gables, FL passed away the morning of February 2, 2016. He was born on July 12, 1966 in Miami and is a graduate of the Epiphany School and Christopher Columbus High School, class of 1984. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 and an MBA from the University of Miami in 1993. Frank was a master builder, well known for having constructed many of the finest homes in Key Biscayne, South Miami, Pinecrest and other areas of Miami. He comes from a long line of Florida builders, following in the celebrated footsteps of his grandfather (Frank Jr.) and his father (Frank III) who built much of Florida. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved boating, fishing, and diving. He was life-long fan of the Fighting Irish. An extraordinarily devoted family man, his greatest treasures were his beloved wife and three daughters, around whom his whole life revolved. He was a friend to a multitude of people and the cherished oldest brother to his five younger siblings. He is survived by his wife Lisa Guerrero Mackle, his daughters, Alessandra, Cristina and Francesca, his parents Frank E. Mackle III and Loretta McCaughan Mackle, his grandmothers Virginia Mackle and Laura McCaughan, sisters Laura Mackle and Virginia Mackle Heck (Daniel), brothers Thomas Mackle (Martha), John Mackle (Kathleen) and Matthew Mackle, in-laws Miguel and Alina Guerrero and Franc and Alina Torres de Navarra as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Mass to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Church of the Epiphany 8235 SW 57 Avenue, Miami, FL 33143 at 2pm followed by interment at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery. He was so loved, gone too soon and we will miss him mightily, until we are reunited in God’s loving presence.
