Francine Edouard Celcis, aged 89, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones in Homestead, FL. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose kindness, warmth, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone she met.
Born on July 4, 1934, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Francine dedicated her life to her family. Her gentle spirit and generous heart were evident in all she did, always putting others before herself. She was a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love, guiding her family through life's joys and challenges with grace and compassion.
Francine is survived by her husband and lifelong partner, Francois Celcis. She leaves behind her cherished children, Patrick Antoine Celcis and Serge Celcis, Jr., who were the light of her life, her daughters-in-law, Kimberly Celcis and Marcela Celcis, and her treasured grandchildren, Serge Joey Celcis, III, Stephan Pascal Celcis, Sarah-Nicole Celcis, Aaron Jordan Celcis, Ariel Nicole, Gianna Lelia Celcis, Savanna Lilian Celcis, and Suzanne Beatrice Celcis, and cherished great-grandchildren Madison Celcis, Anju Bobby Lindsay, Alexander Terrah Celcis, and Thao Celcis who brought her immense joy and pride. Her sisters are Maryse Vilmenay, Nicole Pierre-Noel, and Irma Jean along with their respective families. Cherished members of the family, Jacqueline Celcis Pierre-Louis and Kendgy Pierre-Louis. Francine's legacy of love and kindness will live on in their hearts forever.
Francine was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Marie-France Stephanie Celcis.
