Rommel Gonzalez
Mom, you were truly one of a kind. You didn’t just raise me; you built the foundation of who I am today. You taught me the true meaning of values, work ethic, and unconditional love, lessons you continued to share with me until your very last day.
You carried me through college and championed my education. You were there for the greatest joys of my life—when my sons were born—and you were my rock during my hardest fears, when Alex fell gravely ill with a heart defect. When I was terrified, you told me to have faith and put my trust in God. I listened, and just as you promised, things worked out.
I feel lost without you, yet I still feel you with me. I know one day we will be together again. But for now, I find comfort knowing you are rejoicing in your reunion with Dad, Grandma, and all our loved ones. And knowing you are with my beloved Patricia brings me a special kind of peace.
I will see you again, Mom. Until then, I will keep you safe in my heart, talking to you every day and sharing everything that happens here. I love you.
Your Son,
Rommel
