In Loving Memory of Elva Ried
Elva Ried, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Pembroke Pines, Florida, at the age of 96. She was born on January 4, 1930, in Cuba.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Santiago Leopoldo Velazco, as well as all of her brothers and sisters, who have gone before her.
Elva is survived by her cherished children, Moises Velazco and Santiago Velazco. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her grandchildren: Elva Velazco, Josue Velazco, Zurisadai Velazco, and Marisaday Velazco. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Jason Inerarity, Jordan Inerarity, Andre Velazco, Daria Cruz, Rosalia Rodriguez, Jayden Cruz, Damien Velazco, Jocelia Rodriguez, Yianni Cruz, and Khamari Capers.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing, which will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM at Memorial Plan San José – Ferdinand Funeral Home.
