Eduardo was the first born son to Nilda Torres and Eduardo Barrios Sr. Eduardo also called Eddie B by his closest friends and Eduardito by his closest relatives. Eduardito venia de pie, as his mother Nilda would say ,he was a force to be reckoned with from the minute he came into this world .Eddie was born into a family who adored him . He was the first born son, grandson , nephew he was the perfect addition to this family who loved to have a good time and enjoy, music and sports. From a young age Eddie took on the role of the central male figure in his home and to his little sister Aime Barrios becoming her childhood role model and her life long best friend until his very last days .Eddie loved sports he was an all around athlete playing all types of sports while growing up but Eddie had a special relationship with basketball. Basketball was his first true love and anyone who got to see him play knew he was destined for greatness . Eddies charm, sense of humor, charisma ,and his huge heart were like no other . He was everybody’s best friend and his loyalty was unprecedented. Eddie fought a long , hard battle one that would ultimately take his life . But like every great warrior he endured great trails, sufferings , a broken heart on more occasion than one can count ,and losing his mother Nilda and grandmother Norma within months from each other was a fight that almost took him out yet he remained steadfast and hopeful in the fight . Always remaining sympathetic, loving , caring , funny ,and everyone’s best friend. Eddie leaves a huge hole in our hearts and he will be missed tremendously. May his memory be eternal 🙏🏻❤️
