Dorothy Catherine Koert, beloved cousin passed away peacefully at her residence at Epworth Village on December 25, 2020. She was 102 years old.
Born to parents Jeanette Ballentine and Louis Koert on October 10, 1918 in Paterson, New Jersey, Dorothy was an entertainer and she began her career early when she was recruited by Disney at 4 years old. While working for Disney she was taught to sing and dance. Her passion for entertainment evolved when she decided to take learn to play the saxophone. She became an avid saxophonist and was even in a band called the Juliette's.
Dorothy is survived by her cousins Gale, Virginia and Dawn.
