Dennis Earl Evans' Obituary
It is with great sadness that the Evans family announces the death of Dennis Earl Evans. He passed on December 17 surrounded by his wife Margarita Caitlin and his daughters Jennifer, Catrina, Denise and son Sal. He is also survived by his mother Darlene and sister Debbie. He served in the United States Air Force from 1977-1982. He joined the Miami Dade Police Dept in Oct 1983-December 2015. He was a decorated police officer, dedicated to his job as well as his family. He was a generous, loving and thoughtful husband and father. He enjoyed traveling with his family. He enjoyed spending time scuba diving, boating and shooting. He spent the last 7 years traveling with his youngest daughter Denise, who is a second degree black belt, to support her in the martial arts tournaments (national and international). Dennis was a dedicated police officer that cared and truly enjoyed his Carlin law enforcement. He treated his fellow officers not just friends but as brothers. He constantly reminisce about his life experiences and experiences with his squad. He was awarded Silver Medal of Valor during his career as well as officer of the month all through the years.
