Demetrio Antonio Cruz was born in Cuba to his parents Antonio Cruz and Lorenza Mentes de Oca.. He is preceded in death by his sibling Leida Miret. He was a loving husband of many years to his wife, Sonia Cruz. He has two daughters, Sandra Cruz and Christina Ortiz. He was a cherished grandfather to, Aris Leidy Ortiz, Dahively Ortiz, Jasmine Ortiz, and Elizabeth Ortiz. Demetrio was a follower of the Catholic faith. He will be missed and remembered by those he leaves behind.
