I had the good fortune to meet Daniel as well as his mother, who became an immediate best fiend in my yoga classes at the Ithaca YMCA while Daniel was studying at Cornell. When he was moving back to Miami after graduating his Cornell Masters degree, Daniel gifted me with a Florida sign saying caution: Manatee Zone, which is now displayed in my Florida pool home. I will always remember Daniel fondly for his broad smile and as a beautiful and peaceful person.
