Dr. Robert Alonso-Sosa
My dear “Tata”,
What I am writing is strictly for you and you only, so that you could see it from above the heavenly clouds! You were my big sister and always took care of me when we were just kids. You actually saved my life, at least two times, which comes to mind at this moment? I have always loved you and I will keep on loving you for an eternity. Remember, that even before we became husbands , wife, or even parents? You and I were brother and sister from Pedro Luis Alonso and Araceli Sosa Alonso.
I remember all of the joys we had, when we would play jokes on our parents as well as our grandparents. I also remember and loved when all of our family (no matter the circumstances) would get together and enjoy our company. Upon me leaving for The State of New York with my family to live and practice my profession, many uncanny things occurred that I have no idea how it came to be? We both lost touch or contact with each other, and life made it very difficult to reconcíliate any minor differences we had. As a matter of fact, they were very minor differences and now that I look back in hind site we wasted so much precious time.
You went to be with Our Heavenly Father on January 02, 2021. Today is March 24, 2021 and I was just told about your passing. Never the less, I do not blame anyone and yes, I did shed tears when I heard of your passing. You see I have been living with “Hope”. The hope that you and I would one day embrace each other and I would have a sister again. The “Tata” that I knew when we were just kids and the “Tata” who would take care of me and play with me? I now see that this would be impossible to achieve in this world, life, or Earth! Maybe when my time comes to meet our Heavenly Father , we can become brother and sister again?
Even though, we had not seen each other for a long time? It is hard to know and feel, that I am the only one left? And that my sister no longer exists in this dimension. Please, say “hello” to Mom and Dad for me and I adore and miss you all so much! May you rest in heavenly peace!
Dominus Vobiscum,
The Reverend Robert Alonso-Sosa, DDS, MD, Ph.D. (Your Brother for an Eternity).
