Chad Joseph Hamker's Obituary
After battling with Congestive Heart Failure for 2 years, Chad
passed away suddenly on January 2nd of this year from a final cardiac
event after being airlifted to Miami Heart Institute at Jackson Memorial
Hospital in Miami, Florida. Chad was born on September 19th, 1985 at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida to his loving parents, Wendy L. Wilford and Joseph H.
Hamker. He grew up with two brothers, Blaise R. Hamker and Jesse S. Wilford
which he loved very much and enjoyed being with in whatever the
three of them could find to get into…..most of the time anyway..
Chad lived in Edgewater, Florida with his mother and brothers from
1992 to 2001 where he attended New Smyrna Beach Middle school &
Senior High and received his GED from Daytona Beach Community
college in the year 2000. In 2001, Chad moved back to Homestead to work with his father and brother and learn the Electrical trade in the Family business, Hamker
Electric. On October 3rd, 2012, Chad became a new father to a beautiful baby
boy with his much loved partner, Liza Gonzales which together they
named him Aiden Joseph Hamker. Aiden became the biggest Love and Joy of Chad's Life. No matter what their plans were, he was so happy being with his son.
Chad was known as an avid reader since he was very young and
continued to read every book that he could get his hands on..
He loved the ocean and was raised on the water most of his life. He
liked to fish, walk the beach with Aiden, Airboating with his Dad and
spending time in the Keys. Chad had a Huge sense of humor and loved to laugh and tell jokes to everyone around him. However, he did discover some things in life that he did NOT like…such as, Large Green garbage dumpsters….. or Ducks … and
he especially did not like having to give himself injections…just ask his
Dad…Chad was surrounded by Love, encouragement and support from all
of his family and friends through Good times and not so Good
times…and He knew how blessed he was…He fought Hard and Never
gave in !.....God has called him home now…..and he is finally Free!
