Cenen Efren Companioni 93, of Miami Gardens, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born on July 30, 1930 in Camaguey, Cuba, to Zoila and Antero Companioni. Cenen was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary Companioni a certified nursing assistant who worked in hospice care, his beloved son Humberto Companioni who passed away at 13 years old in 1973, and his dear siblings Ubaldina, Raudel, Herminia, Humberto, Onelia, and Albertina. He was a natural-born poet who recently posted a few of his decimas on Youtube. He is survived by his loving children Raudel Companioni, Efren Companioni, Marlene Garcia, Gredys Companioni, his cherished grandchildren Michelle Kelly, Andrew Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Danielle Companioni, Brandon Lopez, Nicole Companioni, and Marisol Lopez. He was also survived by his great-grandchildren Bobby Graddy, Timothy Kelly, Andres Antonio Garcia, and Noah Oriol.
