Carolyn Blankenship's Obituary
Carolyn Blankenship of Coconut Creek, FL went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026. She was surrounded by her children when the Lord called her.
Born March 22, 1935 in Ardmore, OK, she was the cherished daughter of Charles and Zaida Atkinson.
A devoted mother, she was the heart of her family. She was known for her kind and gentle heart and her love for the Lord. Some of her favorite moments were traveling to The Holy Land and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Blankenship, her son Danny Blankenship, parents Charles and Zaida, and siblings sister Mary Roberts and brother Dean Atkinson. She is survived by her children, Steve Blankenship, Debbie Shepler (son-in-law Tim), Gail Blankenship; grandchildren Kevin Blankenship (wife Heebok), Shaun Collins (wife Marie), Stephanie Napoleoni (husband Freddy), ; great grandchildren Dylan, Amy-Jo, Daniel, Ashton, and Kylo, her siblings brothers Wendall and Paul Atkinson, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends whom she loved dearly.
A private service to celebrate her homegoing will be held at Branam Funeral Home in Homestead, FL. In lieu of flowers, in her memory, a memorial gift may be sent to: Jesus Film Project, 27631 La Paz Road, Suite A, Laguna Niguel, CA, 92677, (800) 918-9929.
