Carolina Garzon Cobo's Obituary
Carolina Garzon Cobo 87, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida was a loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family. Carolina was born in Jiguani, Cuba and moved to the United States in 1961 with her husband, Dr. E. Joseph Cobo who passed away on July 12, 2020. She is survived by her son, Joseph M. Cobo, Sr. (Sylvia), grandchildren, Sylvia Reichert (Joe), Joseph M. Cobo, Jr. (Melissa) and great grandchildren, Lily Reichert, Isabella Reichert, Ellis Cobo and Oliver Cobo of Ft. Lauderdale, niece Elaine Garzon, grandniece Maria Elena McGuire of Miami and cousins Ileana Barcenas of Fort Lauderdale and Manuela Ficuciello of New York. A viewing and Mass service will be held on October 7, 2022 at 12:30p.m. at St. Raymond’s Catholic Church in Miami, Florida with burial immediately following at Woodlawn North Cemetery. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to one of her favorite charities, The American Cancer Society, Broward Health Foundation and Special Olympics of Broward County
