Memories of my mom:
It's hard to accept that someone who has been such an important part of my life is gone and a chapter of my life has ended. She was a great mom, always caring, always worried about our health and if we were ok financially. She helped me until the end with whatever she could. I always felt loved and cared for. She also helped many members of our family see the light of freedom. She made many members of our family realize that there is a better life other than the enslaved society of Cuba where they lacked food, freedom, and the right to determine your future. Hundreds are here because of her efforts, some are grateful and others forget who helped them when they were in need. God gifted her with a long life full of rewards and happiness. Her grandkids and great grandkids were a blessing and she enjoyed the company of her many friends. I am forever grateful for my mom and dad's determination to bring us to a country that has given us freedom and a comfortable living. I loved her cooking and the love she poured into making each dish. She loved the beach and was able to enjoy living next to it.
Our hearts are broken at the loss of our dear mother and grandmother. Thank you all for visiting this site and sharing kind words and memories. Life won’t be the same without Mom, but we feel comforted knowing that she lives on in the hearts of many.
