SALAZAR ALVAREZ, Carmen, 101, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 in Key Biscayne, FL surrounded by her family. Carmen was born on June 27, 1920 in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. She is survived by her loving children, Maria Dolores Obregon (Carlos), Magdalena Ortiz (Tony), Carmen Brown (Robert) and Claudio Alvarez (Yvonne); grandchildren, Carmen Fraga (Alberto), Dolores Abreu (Dominic), Jose A. Ortiz, Magdalena Suarez (Luis), Elizabeth Loboguerrero (Luis), Robert Brown, Jr., Claudio Alvarez (Cristina), Nicolas Alvarez and Cristina de Solo (Carlos).
A Remembrance Reception will be on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 12noon at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 100 Harbor Drive, Key Biscayne, FL where family and friends will be received by the Alvarez Family. Mass will be celebrated for the eternal rest of her soul at 12:30pm, followed by Christian burial at Woodlawn Park North Cemetery, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
