Caridad Reyes, (Valenzuela) 05/02/1931 – 08/31/2021
Caridad was born in Havana, Cuba. Her parents were Sara Hernandez and Eduardo Valenzuela. Caridad was one of eleven siblings.
Caridad passed away at the age of 90 in Miami, Florida with family by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Caridad was married for 60 years to “the love of her life”, she became a widow in March 2017; our dad’s death took a toll on her health.
At 35 years of age, in February 1967, Caridad immigrated to the USA with our dad, Lino Agustin and four kids. Our parents worked very hard to provide for us and we had a happy home. They taught us the importance of family, work ethics, morals and values.
Caridad and Agustin liked to visit their family and friends. They also enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Caridad always kept her home clean and tidy.
Caridad liked to go to mass at St. Brendan’s Church and to La Ermita de la Caridad.
Caridad was a wonderful mother, grandmother, a devoted wife to our late father, a loving and kind sister, aunt, and neighbor.
Caridad was very generous, always thinking of others and would call family and friends almost on a daily basis to check up on them.
Caridad loved to have photos taken for any occasion, and cherished her photo albums. Caridad liked getting her hair and manicure done at the beauty salon.
Caridad was famous for her delicious Flan, which she made often for family, friends and the nurses at the clinic.
Caridad is survived by her children: Eddie, Nancy (Mark), Agustin (Neli),
Lucy (Armando). Grandchildren: Jacob, Jessica, Tony, Cindy, Kristina,
Gus, Steven, Michael and also great grandchildren
Caridad is also survived by her siblings: Isabel, Sara, Luisa, Mercedes, Vicente and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
Our mom Caridad was a very special lady, she will be greatly missed, and she will always be remembered. May she Rest in Peace!

Caridad nació en Habana, Cuba. Sus padres eran Sara Hernandez y Eduardo Valenzuela. Caridad tuvo 7 hermanas y 3 hermanos.
Caridad falleció a los 90 años, en Miami, Florida con familia a su lado después de una larga batalla con la enfermedad de Alzheimer’s.
Caridad estuvo casada por 60 años con “el amor de su vida”, enviudo en Marzo 2017. El fallecimiento de nuestro padre le afecto mucho a su salud.
A la edad de 35 años, en Febrero del 1967, Caridad llego a los Estados Unidos con nuestro padre y los cuatro muchachos. Ellos trabajaron muy duro para darnos un hogar feliz. Nos enseñaron la importancia de familia, trabajo, moral y valores.
A Caridad y Agustin les gustaba visitar a la familia y amistades. También disfrutaban oir música y bailar. Caridad mantenia su hogar limpio y recogido.
Caridad le gustaba ir a misa en la Iglesia de St. Brendan’s y a la Ermita de la Caridad.
Caridad fue una madre y abuela maravillosa, fue una esposa dedicada a nuestro difunto padre, y una cariñosa y amable hermana, tia, y vecina.
Caridad era muy generosa, siempre pensando en los demás. Siempre llamando por telefono a su familia y amistades para saber como estaban.
Caridad le gustaba muchos las fotos y que la retrataran. Tiene muchos albums de fotografias. Tambien le gustaba ir a la peluqueria para su peinado y manicura.
Caridad era famosa por su delicioso Flan, ella se los hacia a la familia, amistades, vecinos y a las enfermeras en la clinica.
A Caridad la sobreviven sus hijos: Eddie, Nancy (Mark), Agustin (Neli), y Lucy (Armando). Sus Nietos: Jacob, Jessica, Tony, Cindy, Kristina, Gus, Steven y Michael. Al igual que bisnietos.
También la sobreviven sus hermanos: Isabel, Sara, Luisa, Mercedes y Vicente. Al igual que muchas sobrinas y sobrinos que ella quería mucho.
Nuestra mamá Caridad fué una señora muy especial, la extrañamos mucho y siempre la recordaremos. ¡Que descanse en paz!
