Blanca I. De Varona Machado was born in Camaguey, Cuba on February 17, 1937 to parents: Juan Martin Machado Perez and Blanca Nieves Somonte. She passed away in Miami, Florida on October 9, 2019. Throughout her life she worked as an educator. She is survived by her sister: Mirta Ron Machado, and nieces and nephews: Jorge Alvarez Machado, Julio Alvarez, Maria Ron Machado, Tania Ron Machado, Sonia Ron Machado, Albert Osorio Machado, and Ileana Osorio Machado.
