Berta Rosa Garcia, 103, passed away on October 24, 2019 in Hialeah, Florida. Berta was born on August 22, 1916 in Cuba. Berta was dedicated to her family and will truly be missed by all who loved and knew her. Berta is survived by many loving family members and friends. The viewing will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Funeraria Memorial Plan San Jose Palm Avenue, 4850 Palm Avenue, Hialeah, Florida 33012. A poem to remember her life is: “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”
