Antonio Cardona's Obituary
Antonio Cardona, 96, passed away peacefully in his home on September 19, 2019 in Hialeah, Florida surrounded by his loving family. Antonio was born on July 22, 1923 in Havana, Cuba. Antonio worked as a General Contractor for construction for many years. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him. Antonio is survived by his loving wife: Esperanza Garcia and long time family friend: Lourdes Arias. The services are private as per the wife’s request. A poem that reflects his life is: “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”
