My daddy, he was a kind and sweet funny goofball. He was there for me. He took up for me even though he wasn’t biologically my father. He took that step, he walked my first steps, my first birthdays , my first worlds, my first day of school. He fathered me more than I have ever been. He showed me what it is to know fatherly love and support even in the worst situations. I miss you papi. It’s weird and scary without you, but with great loss comes wiser wisdom. I hope you’re doing better and having the time do your life on bikes. I love you. More than I could ever say. I still text your phone updating you on my life hoping you’d respond and tell me it’s all okay.
