Where do I start?
From the moment I was born, he was part of my life. He wasn’t just my first cousin—he was my big brother, my role model, my constant. There’s not a childhood memory I have that doesn’t include him. And even into adulthood, he was always there—through every milestone, every struggle, every joy.
Losing him feels like losing a piece of myself. He was family in the truest sense of the word—by blood, by bond, and by love.
Rest in eternal peace, my dear cousin, my big brother.
Please don’t forget to tell my mom, my dad, Abuela and your dad that I miss them deeply that not a day goes by that I don’t think of them or miss them. And every single day, I strive to live in a way that would make them proud—and now, to make you proud too.
