Thomas E. Flynn of Key Largo, Florida passed away October 6, 2021. He was born January 29, 1944 in Mount prospect, Illinois to Father Roy Arthur Flynn and Mother Ruby Ilene Parks. Thomas married Linda Lee Hattam on July 15, 1978 in Itasca, Illinois. Thomas was a loving father of Meghan Flynn and Thomas (Molly) Flynn, and beloved grandfather to Reilly, Aisley and Thomas Flynn. Tom served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1971. He was the Illinois Pole Vaulting State Champion at Mount Prospect high school. He was also a member of the Elk’s Club in Des Plaines, Illinois. Tom loved to golf and loved to be out on the water sail fishing in Key Largo, Florida. When he wasn’t golfing or fishing, Tom loved to watch his three grandchildren and spend time with his family. In addition to his parents, Roy Arthur Flynn and Ruby Ilene Parks, he was preceded in death by his sister Shelby Filip. He is survived by his brother Timothy (Jackie) Flynn.
