Dora Sukwaria Persaud (Doors), 90, of Miami, FL, passed away on April 16th, 2022, from natural causes. The funeral service will be held at 9:00 am-12:00 pm on April 23, 2022, at Branam Funeral Home Memorial Plan. Raymond Dookram will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 pm-9:00 pm on April 22, 2022, at Branam Funeral Home Memorial Plan. Cremation will follow the funeral at 12:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Branam Funeral Home Memorial Plan. Dora Sukwaria Persaud was born in Leguan, Guyana on December 18, 1931. Dora was a seamstress, gardener, and a homemaker. She was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother whom everyone loved dearly. Dora was married to Milton Harry Persaud. They were married for 41 years. She was widowed in 1989. Dora moved to Miami, FL in 1991 and has lived here ever since. She enjoyed being outside, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching her Indian soap operas. Dora is survived by her children; Daro, Peter, Neville, Patricia, Natalie, Valarie, and Kelvin, her 11 grandchildren, her 7 great-grandchildren, and her 3 siblings; Elaine, Pauline, and Naiomi. Dora is preceded in death by Rosaline Jettoo, Moses Jettoo, Bephia Jettoo, William Jettoo, and Milton Harry Persaud.
